Hosted by CETEM within the framework of the CirCLER project, this webinar will explore gender equality, leadership, and the transition towards a circular and sustainable economy in the furniture and wood sectors.
On October 10, the Circler project was presented at the Santa Teresa Campus of the University of Architecture in Florence.
Florence, October 10, 2025 – A significant moment for the European furniture industry occurred at the Santa Teresa complex, home to the Department of Architecture of the University of Florence, with the official presentation of the CirCLER project (Circular Learning for a Sustainable Furniture and Wood Value Chain).
Circular Furniture Labs is an initiative of the CirCLER project. This activity is designed to promote accessibility, dissemination, and the practical use of the results, knowledge and practices achieved within the project, ensuring they directly benefit the sector.
The CirCLER project is now in the stage of finalising the content for the curriculum for future Circular Economy Transition Managers (CETM). However, it is important to recognise the prior knowledge that users may have before attempting the curriculum. While the curriculum is built to provide a complete view of managing circular transitions in the furniture industry, it is also to be offered to individuals who may only want to upskill in certain areas.
