On June 20, 2024, the CirCLER project partners convened online for their second meeting. The session began with an informal exchange among partners, setting a collaborative tone for discussions on recent developments and future steps in the project.
The meeting provided a comprehensive overview of the project's current status, covering critical areas such as financial management, quality assurance, and the progress of technical work. A significant portion of the discussion centered on the results of the survey recently implemented, aimed at identifying the competencies needed for the Circular Economy Transitional Manager (CETM) role. These insights will form the foundation for creating training materials aimed at equipping furniture CETM with the set of skills needed.
Another focal point was the preparation of the upcoming online workshop, which will involve 30 experts from the furniture sector and circular economy, both internal and external, and will serve as a means to validate the survey results. Detailed planning was emphasized to ensure the successful execution of this event and the engagement of key stakeholders.
Updates on dissemination activities showcased the creation of vital resources and active involvement in community engagement initiatives. The meeting concluded with strategic planning for future actions, including coordinating dissemination efforts and scheduling upcoming partnership meetings and calls.
